Why we exist

Tanzania’s market information is fragmented — scattered across exchange filings, central-bank releases, auction results, company disclosures, national statistics, and thinly-traded price data. Most of it is real, none of it is in one place, and very little of it is written for the investor trying to understand the country’s capital-formation story. KCP organizes those signals into a single, readable intelligence layer: what happened, why it matters for capital, and what to watch next.

What we track

DSE equities and indices, listed-company fundamentals, macro and monetary policy, the shilling and FX reserves, government securities and the yield curve, and the regional and strategic signals shaping foreign capital flows into Tanzania — from ports and rail corridors to mining, energy, agriculture and financial deepening.

How we work

Our discipline is the product. Every figure reconciles to its authoritative source — the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange for equities and indices, the Bank of Tanzania for rates, FX and reserves, the National Bureau of Statistics, official budget documents, regulators, and company filings. Aggregators and press corroborate; they are never the figure of record. Where a number can’t be verified, we omit it: null over fabricated.

What we publish

The founder

KANZA CAPITAL PARTNERS was founded by Arthur George Kanza, a commercial-strategy and governance specialist based in Dar es Salaam, and a private investor in Tanzanian markets. His career spans East African FMCG and industry — including earlier roles connected to SABMiller / Tanzania Breweries (TBL) and Toyota Tanzania — giving him a working view of how capital, governance and the real economy actually move in the region.

KCP grew out of a frustration he kept meeting as an investor: Tanzania’s market information is real, but fragmented and rarely written for the person trying to understand it. The platform is his attempt to fix that — independent, sourced, and built for serious participants.

One name, one platform

KANZA CAPITAL PARTNERS is an independent market-intelligence publisher based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, founded and operated by Arthur George Kanza. It has no affiliation with any other company, fund, adviser or individual using a similar name in Tanzania or abroad — including, among others, the dissolved UK company “Kanza Capital Limited”, the US-registered advisers and funds named “Konza”, or other individuals who share the Kanza name.
